Florida Aid to Animals is seeking a compassionate, community‑minded Veterinarian to join our nonprofit veterinary team serving pets and families across Brevard County. For more than 35 years, our mission has been to provide affordable, accessible veterinary care so every pet has a chance at a healthy life — regardless of a family’s financial situation.
As a Veterinarian with Florida Aid to Animals, you’ll deliver high‑quality medical care in a supportive, collaborative environment where your work directly impacts the wellbeing of pets who need it most. This role is ideal for a doctor who values purposeful work, a steady schedule, and a team that truly cares about each other and the community.
What You’ll Do

Provide compassionate, high‑quality medical care to dogs and cats

Perform wellness exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans

Conduct spay/neuter surgeries and other soft‑tissue procedures

Support clients with clear, empathetic communication

Work alongside experienced technicians and support staff

Help advance our mission of keeping pets healthy and families supported
What We’re Looking For

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) and Florida licensure

Commitment to accessible, community‑focused veterinary care

Comfort with a fast‑paced, high‑volume clinical environment

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Experience with spay/neuter surgery is a plus (training available)

FATA has excellent working hours, no emergencies, no after-hours schedule, and no kennel.
Work Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, and Friday are 8 am to 4 pm
Each Clinic has a late day
Wednesday, 8 am to 6 pm, Palm Bay Office
Thursday, 8 am to 6 pm, Melbourne Office
Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm (approximately two Saturdays a month)
