We are committed to making Pet Health Care affordable to everyone. We also promote low cost Spay and Neuter to help with the over-population of pets. The original Melbourne facility was opened in 1989 by Isabelle Dorsey. Her mission was to provide an affordable sterilization program to help decrease the number of cats and dogs that were, and still are, being euthanized at shelters due to pet overpopulation. The hospital is now managed by her daughter, Lisa and is staffed by 20+ employees and has grown into an affordable pet health care clinic.

FATA strives to keep prices on products and services as low as possible so anyone can afford the basic, necessary health care for their pets. That mindset has been so successful it demanded we open a second clinic in Palm Bay in August of 2010. That too has been well received, thereby reinforcing the original idea that affordable pet health care for our clients and their beloved pets has come of age in the 21st century.

There are those who can’t afford due loss of income or perhaps their own illnesses, so we do our best to make sure every pet gets what they need through donations made by our supporters such as Elanco , Bayer, Merial and BMI but sometimes we have to refer out to other full service Hospitals and for that we try to help cover the costs that the pet may incur. So we now have started our Public Relation Department so we can go out a do fund raisers as well as educational seminars.

We accept Visa, Master Card, Debit Cards, and Care Credit. NO Checks or American Express.

All cats must be brought in carriers and all dogs on a short, fixed leash. No extendable leashes, please!

We will be able to do your Spay and Neuter, Bloodwork, Vaccines and Minor Medicals! Groomer and Behavioral Classes are being offered at our Palm Bay location now.
