The original Melbourne facility was opened in 1989 by Isabelle Dorsey. Her mission was to provide an affordable sterilization program to help decrease the number of cats and dogs that were, and still are, being euthanized at shelters due to pet overpopulation. The hospital is now managed by her daughter, Lisa and is staffed by 20+ employees and has grown into affordable pet health care.
FATA strives to keep prices on products and services as low as possible so anyone can afford the basic, necessary health care for their pets. That mindset has been so successful it demanded we open a second clinic in Palm Bay in August of 2010. That too has been well received, thereby reinforcing the original idea that affordable pet health care for our clients and their beloved pets has come of age in the 21st century.
